Newest version: HypKnotik 1.01
(download)
HypKnotik is a free screensaver for your Windows PC which brings the ancient
art of celtic knotwork into the
21st century. When your computer is idle, it fills your
screen with a beautifully rendered page of colorful and
bewilderingly complex intertwined knots, and then proceeds to continuously mutate the
pattern as you watch. The effect is
quite compelling.
A variety of patterns can be specified for
rendering, from a simple flat ribbon to a carefully
shaded three dimensional tube. In addition,
you can specify a nearly infinite number of color combinations to suit
your personal tastes.
Installation
- Make sure that you are running Windows XP or Vista.
- Make sure that you have installed Sun Java 1.5 or newer. (The

if you don't already have it.)
- Download and execute the provided installer: HypKnotik-1.01-installer.exe (461KB)
- Go to the "Screen Saver Settings" control panel, and select
